As always, life tends to intervene when you’re working on things in your free time. Our lack of posts for the past few months have been due to a number of things — namely a substantial part of our staff being occupied by stuff like college and work. After realising that we were demanding more for the project than any of us could give, we’ve decided to scale back the demo’s content.

   This means that Hikari and Cameron will not feature in the demo, allowing us to focus on just four girls. The setting will be limited to the school grounds instead of being open to the town. We’ve narrowed the scope of the demo quite a bit and hope that with this, we can get something playable out to you soon. We just don’t have the resources or time to go through with our initial layout and the more time we take to get it done, the more taxing it is to move ahead.

   We intend for the full release to include everything we’ve planned.

With that last slideshow, we have now presented every main character. Holly is our game’s narrator and protagonist and Cameron, Elaine, Hikari, Lena, Selene and Siobhan are her potential romantic interests.

   For future posts, we will be introducing minor characters as well as the school of St. Clare’s and the town of Finhurst, where the game takes place. These posts may be slightly less frequent than our weekly slideshows, but this is only to make sure that we’re posting content we feel would interest our readers and not because less work is being done.

   Thank you for your continued support and interest. For those who would like, we have now set up a Twitter account to answer questions and notify of new blog posts. We have also made a FAQ page for information about game specifics as well as how to apply to our team. If you would like to ask us anything, feel free to send any questions through our ask page (those without a Tumblr account can ask through the anonymous feature) or, as said above, via Twitter. If you’d just like to talk to the team casually, we’ve recently had a number of posts in our open board and encourage others to introduce themselves or talk about yuri.

With the posting of art of our main character, we’re now starting a series of updates. You can expect to see slideshows with various pieces of character development art each Sunday (GMT). The art posted shows the design process of each of our main characters from the first concept piece in the /u/ thread to their current appearance.

    To coincide with this, we will also be updating a character profile page with each bio as it appears on the blog. The bios can be accessed from the top of the blog, under the Character Profiles link. As each slideshow comes out, the page will be updated with links to more characters.

    The recent string of updates is to allow you to get familiar with our characters, whether it be a reminder of the cast or a fresh introduction.
